Benyamin Obadyah was born in 1950 in Situbondo, East Java, Indonesia.  He and his wife Ira Natalie have 3 children Irene, Karen, and Yoel.

Benyamin is the Pastor of both Beit El and Shoresh Messianic Fellowship congregations in Jakarta. He is the founder of Kehilat Mesianik Indonesia, a network of messianic congregations in Indonesia.

He has been studying in Yeshivat Shuvu since 2016.
