Hans (Swiss born) and Tamar (born in the Canary Islands, Spain) married in 1987. They have 3 adult sons. At present, Hans works as an independent carpenter. Tamar studies at Yeshivat Shuvu since 2018.

In April 2020, they started the online Har Tikkun Shabbat morning group, teaching and praying from the Ahavat Olam Siddur, weekly parashah, Jewish history and way of life and placing the Jewish Messiah Yeshua in the context of the Torah. They lead the German Yeshiva branch and Tamar coordinates the work.
